This is my giant icicle Michael. I took this picture back when he was about 6 feet tall, now he's at least 8. This displays good use of the rule of thirds because Micheal is one of the lines that divides the picture in 3.
This is me making a snow angel in my backyard (I used self-timer and a tripod to take this one). This uses both the Rule of Thirds and good color. I am off-center and my arms are roughly the line that marks one third. This also uses good color by standing out against the snow a lot and all the colors harmonize.
I took this picture in my backyard after a large snow storm. This picture uses color to grab the viewer's attention by having a lot of white negative space and the positive space is entirely red. It really snags the observer's gaze.
